Privacy policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Riser collects, why, and the choices you have. Riser is the controller for account data. For the client records you store in your workspace, you are the controller and Riser processes them on your behalf.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, business details and team members.
- Workspace content: customers, projects, quotes, invoices, files and notes you add.
- Billing data: plan, billing period and payment status. Card details are collected by Paddle, not by us.
- Usage data: technical logs such as IP address, browser and pages used, to keep the service secure and working.
- Enquiries: details you send through our contact form or by email.
How we use it
We use personal data to provide and secure Riser, process subscriptions, send service emails, respond to support requests and improve the product. We do not sell personal data, and Riser AI never uses your workspace data to train models.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Riser: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Supabase (database and authentication), Paddle (payments and invoicing, as Merchant of Record), an email delivery provider, and an AI provider that processes prompts only to answer your requests. Each handles data under its own data protection terms.
Cookies
Riser uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. The website may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, workspace data is removed within 30 days, except where we must keep records such as invoices for legal reasons.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict some processing. Account owners can export their workspace and erase a customer's details from inside Riser. For anything else, email support@theriserpro.com.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries. Where they do, they protect it with appropriate safeguards.
Changes
We will post any changes here and tell you about significant ones.
